Clifton Beach, its not at the top of my priorities these days that’s for sure, but its a love hate relationship, you can never turn your back on your old stomping ground! even if a bath full of razors is more appealing then surfing there these days.

Over the last two years iv been working on setting up my own studio, mostly for personal use at the moment but trying to branch out in the near future, with a new macro lens added to my collection of photo gear, ill be squintty eyed alot more lookin for the finer detail in life.

This image was born from some down time in South Aus two months ago, we had had probably one of the most productive trips in my career, so productive it turns out, a magazine is producing a hard cover book on it!! so stoked, cant wait to see the final result.

These are not Terns, but Albatross but i love the photo, i shot it on a recent out to sea venture in the deep south, it just reminds me of the logo on my dads first custom single fin i ride, shaped by Leigh Steven, funnest board iv owned.

James Hollmer Cross at a borderline unsurfable reef in Bicheno, but on the right wave it makes a bloody fine photo. This one just popped out on the stands in the Latest Tracks mag, iv been working a fair bit with Tracks lately, frothin on there new format magazine and there straight up approach to Photo editing.
